Halo was a game I spent a lot of time on in my younger years. I originally bought an Xbox for Halo: CE and picked up Halo 2 the day it came out. I started to play Halo 2 on Xbox Live and I was hooked almost instantly. Being able to play online against other people was exhilarating and I wanted to get better and better. The feeling of being able to get online, play with my friends, and outplay strangers on the internet was like an adrenaline rush. To this day no Halo game has been quite as fun as Halo 2 with all of its glitches like the superjumps, map glitches, and button combos; the glitches separated the good people from the bad people but it also made every game interesting… or infuriating.

I picked up Halo 3 the day it came out, too, and I played an absurd amount of Halo 3 on Xbox Live. This game was nowhere near as good as Halo 2 but was, in my opinion, the last good Halo game out there. After Halo 3 came Halo: Reach which introduced a lot of things I did not like such as “bloom” and fall damage. Halo 4 came out next and I was not impressed by the game. Some time between Halo: Reach and Halo 4 I had found League of Legends and was enthralled in that at the time.

In November of 2017 I bought an Xbox One and picked up Halo 5: Guardians and The Master Chief Collection. Halo 5 is a bit different than other Halo games but all in all it is quite fun. I enjoyed the campaign of this game but I disliked the ending. The online ranking system is a lot like League of Legends’ but the online system is much smoother than previous Halo games and I am enjoying playing online. Feel free to add me on Xbox Live, my gamertag is ThaggleS is SiK.
